Indian Tacos


3 C. flour
2 1/2 Tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 teaspoons Crisco
1 3/4 cups hot water, add more if needed.

 

Mix all ingredients together. Knead like you do bread. Cover and let sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Shape into golf ball size or a little bigger.

Roll out like pancake size. Put a little oil in a flat size nonstick pan and cook, flip over to cook other side. Cook until brown. Place  your Indian taco on a plate and  add all  of your favorite toppings: Chili or beans, cheese, tomatoes, browned ground beef, lettuce, onions and/or hot sauce or picante sauce.
